The theme for the 2025 Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal is Open your heart to God’s goodness which calls us to serve those in need. The Diocese of Joliet is mailing a packet to registered parishioners this month. Please review the information and prayerfully consider your pledge to the CMAA. Thank you!
The 2025 Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal has begun!
As the Diocese of Joliet launches the 2025 Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal (CMAA), we are humbly asking all parishioners to pledge their support for this important effort, as together we can make a profound difference.
This year’s CMAA theme is Open your heart to God’s goodness. Through our support, we ensure that the mission and ministries of Christ’s Church are available to everyone. Together, we can help provide safe shelter for the homeless, feed the physical and social needs of those who are hungry, inspire those discerning a life of vocation, and aid in the education of our next generation of Catholics. Our parish could not accomplish all of this on its own. As a diocese working together, we can do so much more.
Our parish goal for the 2025 CMAA is $, and 70% of any amount we raise over our goal will be returned to us and used fruitfully within our own parish. Please review the materials you receive in the mail from the Diocese of Joliet this month and prayerfully reflect on your gift to this year’s annual appeal.
If you do not receive a CMAA mailing, please contact the parish office. Thank you!

Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal
The Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal (CMAA) is our annual fundraising campaign that supports the ministries, agencies, programs and schools that serve the spiritual, physical and educational needs of the people of the Diocese of Joliet.
Our donors help ensure the works of the Lord can continue to be made possible throughout our diocese. It’s through gifts to the CMAA that our diocesan-wide ministries help feed and shelter the homeless, educate seminarians, teach our faith to children and adults through catholic schools and religious education programs, and more.
Every gift—large and small—is appreciated and will help us to meet our goal. We encourage you to watch our testimonials and witness how your gifts will bless our ministries. Thank you to the many people who have demonstrated to those in need that we all belong to God through their gifts to the 2024 Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal (CMAA).
Dear Parishioners,
As Catholics, we celebrate the importance of both practicing our faith and living our faith, each day in ways like Jesus did. The Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal (CMAA) is rich in opportunities for us to follow Christ’s example by serving others. This brings me to the theme of our 2025 Appeal, Open your heart to God’s goodness. When we open our hearts to God’s goodness, we open the doors of our Church in service to those in need. Once open, there is no limit to the good we can do!
When you give to the CMAA, you help educate and prepare our seminarians on their journey to becoming our future priests. You bring our young adult Catholics together for faith-building fellowship. You offer programs to our Catholic youth that strengthen their relationship with Jesus, encouraging them to spread His good news. Through your charitable gift, you provide hope and safe housing for the homeless, and much, much more!
Today, I humbly ask you to open your hearts to God’s goodness by donating as generously as you can to this year’s CMAA. The enclosed brochure features powerful stories that bear witness to the good work you and your fellow parishioners are doing across our Diocese. It is truly inspiring!
I encourage you to take a moment to read these stories and view the videos that accompany them to discover the tremendous difference your gift makes.
Thank you for prayerfully considering my request. My hope is that you’ll be inspired to make a pledge today. There is no greater way to honor God’s goodness than to open our hearts in service
to others.
With best wishes, I ask God to bless you always.
As I remain—
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Most Reverend Ronald A. Hicks
Bishop of Joliet
